Error which happened in my test environment:
Server : Windows server 2008
Clients : Windows xp and windows 7
when i try to push the client management agent it says “starting Symantec management agent install Service” and no response after all.
Steps done for trouble shooting:
- check the domain and client timing
- disable firewall
- install webserver certificate in clients (SSL)
- manually installed management agent but after that server cannot recognize client
- Updated resource membership notification server
No hope, after that removed SSL bindings from the IIS Altiris Site, client started installing.
